Wifi at UoA
If using the University Computer: Use as per normal computer If using your laptop: There will be an HDMI cord at the lectern for you to plug in your device. However, we do recommend having your presentation on a USB as a backup, especially if you are using an Apple product.
General Information
All rooms are equipped with a PC, which features a standard set of programs used by teaching staff, including Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint and Word. The lectern will be set up prior to. There will be guides on using the system on every lectern, along with contact information for the IT team, should you experience any difficulties.
Laptop
When connecting laptop computers to teaching room data projectors, there should normally be no problem with most laptop brands. The projectors will generally cope with the most common video settings. However, the image quality will vary depending on the resolution settings. If you have a video included in your PPT presentation, please test your presentation during the break prior to your session start time.
