Life Membership
Honorary Life Membership. From the constitution
From time to time the Council will recommend members who may become Honorary Life Members.
There are three criteria we use when Council nominates a member for honorary life membership. Nominees must fulfil all three criteria:
Be a current member and have a longevity of involvement in the organisation
Have made an outstanding contribution to the Association. This might include founding or leading a special interest group, ongoing participation in the work of the association, and growing the membership of the association.
Have made a demonstrable contribution to educational research in Aotearoa New Zealand
Procedure: Notified in agenda for AGM; and elected through a simple majority.
Benefits: An honorary life membership shall carry all the entitlements of individual membership.
