Biography:
Katrina McChesney is a Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Waikato in New Zealand.

James Burford is an Associate Professor of Global Education and International Development in the Department of Education Studies at the University of Warwick, UK.

Liezel Frick is a Professor of Education in the Department of Curriculum Studies and vice-dean for research and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Education at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

Tseen Khoo is Co-Founder of The Research Whisperer and a Senior Lecturer in Research Education and Development at La Trobe University, Australia.

Maia is nterested in Māori and Indigenous knowledges and approaches that contribute to justice in education practice, pedagogy and policies. Her particular interests are in understanding ways that Māori and Indigenous knowledges can impact on, and provide solutions to contemporary social, educational and political issues. Maia has expertise in mātauranga Māori and in the historical realities that continue to impact socio-political and socio-ecological spaces.

Professor
Stuart McNaughton ONZM is Professor of Education at Waipapa Taumata Rau The University of Auckland. He has published extensively on children’s development, the design of effective educational programmes for culturally and linguistically diverse populations, and cultural processes in development. He was the Founding Director of the Woolf Fisher Research Centre | Te Pūtahi, which pioneered research in design-based school change. His current research focuses on designing and testing digital tools to promote online resilience and social and cognitive skills.

Tracey Carlyon has experience teaching at all levels of the curriculum and in initial teacher education. Both her master's and doctoral studies focused on transitions, with a specific lens on professional learning. Tracey is passionate about educational leadership within a range of diverse contexts and is committed to coaching and mentoring others.Rosina Merry has held a range of education roles, including teaching and managing in ECE services, and initial teacher education. Her research includes language, culture, and identity within the online teaching spaces. Rosina has a particular interest in digital technology for pedagogical purposes and the role leadership plays in this space.
