NZCER is Aotearoa New Zealand’s independent, statutory education research and development organisation. It conducts research and evaluation work with public and private sector clients. It also produces research-based products such as tests, journals, books and services such as online testing, surveys, test marking and analysis.
RSNZ - Royal Society of New Zealand
NZARE is a Constiuent Organisation member of RSNZ. This allows the association some benefits of membership, but not necessarily individuals. RSNZ has a number of publicly-contested research funds for scientific research including social science. This link lists those funds
UNESCO - NZ National Commission for UNESCO
UNESCO NZ's role is to fulfil New Zealand’s obligations as a UNESCO Member State by supporting UNESCO's vision, goals and programmes within the context of New Zealand and the Pacific, and by helping to set the direction of the global UNESCO programme and policies in line with New Zealand priorities and values.
NZARE has a reciprocal arrangement to host a symposium with AARE, and joins our Australian sister organisation for a Trans-Tasman conference approximately every four years.
The aim of ANZHES is to collect and distribute information relating to the study, teaching and research in the history of education.
HERDSA is a scholarly society for people committed to the advancement of higher and tertiary education. It promotes the development of higher education policy, practice and the study of teaching and learning. HERDSA encourages and disseminates research on teaching and learning and higher education development. It also works to build strong academic communities.
