Kei Tua o te Pae: The challenges of kaupapa Mäori research in the 21 st century
Te Wāhanga, the Māori research unit within the New Zealand Council for Educational Research, will host a hui on 5-6 May 2011 at Tapu Te Ranga marae, Island Bay, Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) aimed at reigniting debate about the future direction of kaupapa Māori research. 3rd International Language, Education and Diversity Conference (LED 2011)
November 23-26, 2011 at The University of Auckland. An international conference focusing specifically on the impact of increased cultural linguistic diversity, at both national and supranational levels, and its consequences for the theory, policy and practice of language education. As such, LED provides an international forum that brings together the latest academic and policy discussions, and promotes critical debate, on the often-complex interconnections between diversity and language education.
