THE 2010 NZARE Conference AND ANNUAL MEETING

The NZARE Conference and Annual Meeting 2010 will be held at the University of Auckland,6 - 9 December 2010. Engineering Block, The University of Auckland, City Campus. Call for Papers closes 1 July through the conference website. Early Registration closes 1 October. Theme: "Ki te ao marama - Charting our future."

The NZ Educatioal Theses Database as recently been launched by the New Zealand Council for Educational Research. It contains 9000 Doctoral, masters and Diploma theses in education topics.

NZARE sessions at AERA, CSSE and BERA 2010

CongratulationsThis year, the group selected to represent NZARE at the 2010 annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association (in Denver, Colorado) is a team led by Professor Stephen May of the University of Waikato’s School of Education.

The symposium title is: Critical Multiculturalism: Theory and Praxis. Geraldine McDonald Scholarship

The NZARE Council is seeking applications for the Geraldine McDonald Scholarship. This one-off scholarship, which may take the form of a stipend, is to support a Masters or Doctoral student to write the history of the NZARE as her or his thesis. For more information, please go to the Awards page.
