Science Education Medal for NZARE Member 12 Aug 2016

Rose Hipkins has been awarded the Peter Spratt medal by New Zealand science educators for her sustained contribution to science education.

The presentation was made at the science educators conference, SciCon, in Lower Hutt this week, where Rose gave a keynote address. First awarded by the New Zealand Association of Science Educators in 2008, it is given every second year to someone nominated for their contribution to science education.

Rose is a long-standing NZARE Member, a Council representative and works at NZCER.  Read more here
