NEWS

Ka Hiwa Ra!

A launch of Te Mahere Rautaki Matauranga o Ngai Te Rangi to the Ministry of Education on June 17, 2011 shows us how passionate, committed and fired up we can be when we as Iwi members unite for a common cause. The belief that our Mokopuna, tamariki and rangatahi deserve more than what is currently being offered in current educational settings has provoked Ngai Te Rangi to take action. Research is not new to tangata whenua as our tipuna have historically shown, however, the context in which we now live and the challenges we face demand that we are uphold the 'ihi me te wehi'.
